Synopsis:

The Portland Japanese Gardens was opened in 1967 and is considered to be one of the most authentic examples of Japanese gardens in North America. The garden is actually composed of several types of Japanese gardens, including a strolling garden, tea garden, flat garden and dry garden (commonly called a Zen garden).
